Frequently Asked Questions
What is Art in Whitefield?
In September 2018, local Whitefield resident and fine art lecturer at University of Bolton,
Neil Greenhalgh set up Art in Whitefield. It all started as a Facebook group and now we are an active group working together to bring more events and experiences to those living, working and visiting Whitefield. After being awarded Bury Culture Grants we have organised a range of art events and commissioned artists to deliver workshops for a range of community groups.
Do I need to be an active participant to join?
Not at all! You can take part as much or as little as you like. Whether you prefer to keep in touch through our Facebook group, volunteer at our events, or join our monthly meetings when you can, we welcome everyone who want to share their interest in all things art!
Is there a membership fee?
No, Art in Whitefield is free to join! The more the merrier!
